1) How to tell your Shoe Tale
2) Get involved in the exhibition THIS AUTUMN!
3) Collaborate / use Shoe Tales as a resource
----------------------------------
1) Tell Your Shoe Tale:
Do you have a memorable pair of Shoes?
On a postcard (either buy one or make one), tell their story.
The rest is up to you. Just be clear - don’t write too small - and be creative. Follow your instincts and your feet. Use words -from a simple sentence to poetry and prose; use visuals - from a doodle to a detailed drawing, or collage, photographs, textures. Use your memory and your imagination: all stories - weird, ordinary, large or small- are welcomed.
Then either scan / email your completed Shoe Tale postcard (as an attachment) to
post(at)shoetales.co.uk
Or put a stamp on it and send to:

2) Get involved in the exhibition
When: Friday 24th September– Monday 18thOctober 2010
Where: Milkwood Gallery, 41 Lochaber Street, Roath, Cardiff
All of the postcards received will be displayed in an exciting installation, which will later form part of the Made in Roath micro-festival over the weekend of 15th-17th October.
For the exhibition, we need old and unwanted shoes!
Do you have any old shoes you don’t want any more?
Hold onto them for a little while longer and donate them to the exhibition! Old festival shoes, wellies that leak, worn sandals or shoes in good nick that you just don’t plain like – contribute them to the exhibition.
