1) How to tell your Shoe Tale

2) Collaborate / use Shoe Tales as a resource

----------------------------------

1) Tell Your Shoe Tale:

Do you have a memorable pair of Shoes?

On a postcard (either buy one or make one), tell their story.

The rest is up to you. Just be clear - don’t write too small - and be creative. Follow your instincts and your feet. Use words -from a simple sentence to poetry and prose; use visuals - from a doodle to a detailed drawing, or collage, photographs, textures. Use your memory and your imagination: all stories - weird, ordinary, large or small- are welcomed.

Then either scan / email your completed Shoe Tale postcard (as an attachment) to post(at)shoetales.co.uk

Or put a stamp on it and send to:

2) Want to collaborate?

Shoetales is a project for everyone to take part in. If you’re part of a youth group, the women’s institute, a storytelling circle, a magazine - whatever - feel free to contact the project with any ideas you have.

Or if you’re a teacher, student, lecturer or museum and would like to introduce the project as part of a course, you can apply for an information pack complete with postcards and further details: just email your request to
